It Happened Again!

It Happened Again! Recently I ran into a problem that required a lot of my time and energy. P has put up with this for a few weeks, and she has been nothing but patient and supportive. So I set out to make Saturday night a surprise for her. We get hit on by so many single guys, I read a few profiles and struck up a conversation with one. He seemed to fit everything P wanted. Claimed he was single, could host, was the right age range, said all the right things. Well P has one rule she will not bend - any single guy has to meet me first for either coffee or a beer, and I have to be comfortable with him in order for things to progress. And since this was to be a 'blindfolded' adventure, if I can't verify I met him well, she is out. So, after talking for some time, and me feeling pretty comfortable with what he was saying, we set up a meeting for this morning for coffee. And surprises of surprises, he blew me off!! So now, no surprise for P (and before we get slammed with offers, she really is not interested!) To make it even worse for him, lady friend wanted to tag along. She said - after he rocks P's world, I am gonna rock his! So, this is another reason we will no longer seek single men. Period. This was the last time she wants to try. Sad thing? I know what lady friend had planned - all I can say is WOW! |

Sorry to hear you are having this much trouble. Yea, we get stood up too on occasion, but never after spending the time to chat with them. in fact, I cant say we have been stood up in a few months. hmm.
