DO YOU BELIEVE IN ASTROLOGY, AND IF SO WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE SIGNS?
I DO believe a little in Astrology. When I was a lot of years younger I delved into Astrology, and did a lot of reading and studying books that covered the subject. At one time, when I lived briefly in Monterey, California, I even did astrological birth charts for a few people. An astrological birth chart covers all the planets in our solar system and their placement in a person's chart when the person was born.

This little post I'm writing can't cover all the things that a person's birth chart attempts to cover. Things like the Rising sign, the placement of the moon, and the position of important planets like Mars, Venus, and Jupiter aren't covered here...

About all I can touch base on in this post is the SUN sign of people. This is the sign that covers the 12 Sun signs of the Zodiac, and is what is usually covered when you read about your sign in a newspaper or magazine.

The Sun sign is what is meant when someone asks you, "Hey, Dude! What's your sign?"

Whether your sign is Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius or Pisces, people believe that the different signs of the zodiac present different characteristics in personalities.

Do you have a favorite "sign" ? What about YOUR sign? Do your personality quirks follow along with what you've read about how your birth sign is "supposed" to make you act? Or is it all just silly junk as far as you're concerned?

A BIG interest that people have regarding Astrology is about the signs of the zodiac that are supposed to be compatible to yours.

What is the your sign, and then what is the sign of your "love interest" ?

Don't sweat it, Discrete! I know you're out there working hard, and I appreciate you writing in when you feel like it... Both my parents were Cancer, and I'm sorry to say I probably broke their hearts many times before they died a number of years ago. I'm a selfish Aries.. Not one of the loud ones, but rather the quiet type who likes to read. I've always been extra healthy all my life, and still am. I can never remember ever being sick, and I've been extra horny all my life too...

Thank you for leaving me the honest comment KC Claire! Both my parents were Cancer... they were born only two days apart... I'm the third of four children and I know I broke my parent's hearts many times before they died a long time ago. I'm an Aries with Aquarius as my rising sign and also my moon sign. I've lived for a lot of years with an Apache woman who is Leo, and we fit together perfectly. She's tough enough to handle my selfishness. You're very correct about many Aries people, even I don't like them very much. I don't argue with people, I'm more the quiet type, but there's no doubt that I'm a selfish prick and think highly of myself.

In my journey through life, one of the women I've cared for most was an English woman. She was an only child who came to Hollywood to become a song writer. She never wanted to marry and definitely never wanted children. Her real name was Kathleen Smith, and she too was a lovely LIbra. I no longer remember when her exact birth date was but I do remember it was toward the end of the sign, like your's is. Kathleen, was a passionate woman, and she and I had a friendship that never turned to love, but was very sexual anyway. We were together frequently during all of the 1960's and then I left Hollywood to live in Monterey, Ca. for a couple of years, and lost contact with Kathleen. Because her name is so common, I was never able to find her again. At the time I left for Monterey, she also moved from the apartment in Hollywood where she'd lived for ten years or more, and disappeared.

I've had wonderful friends who've had Capricorn as their sun signs. M.-- my life partner-- is Leo.
