MORNING PEOPLE

Are you a morning person, an afternoon person, or a night person?

I'm a morning person.

I'm also a person who's always been able to adapt to the environment I'm in.
The adaptation started with me as a when our family moved almost every year. It's a great boot camp for a young to live in places from upstate New York-- just under the Canadian border-- to the deep South in Decatur, to school in Connecticut. The differences in the climate and the people, create a memory that not ALL things or ALL people are the same.

I'm a morning person--now. Before I bought this cabin on the Mojave desert, I lived in Hollywood and did a lot of all-night writing projects. Hollywood back in the early 60's, was a young HORNY man's Garden of Eden. The early 1960's ushered in the beginning of a short-lived sexual revolution that began in San Francisco and skipped down to L.A.,a week later.

This sexual revolution was no phoney-scam either. It was real. There were very little street drugs in those days. Liquor flowed freely, but SEX was the drug of the 60's, and people were holding orgies in broad daylight in Griffith Park and on the beach at Pirate's Cove and Topanga Canyon beach. Not to mention the stuff that went on in Venice (and I mean Venice, California of course).

And what the fuck were CONDOMS, or vicious Vice Cops?

In those days before STD's got turned loose on us, either by NATURE or something more SINISTER, I usually had SOME form of sex every night. I NEVER put a sock on my pecker, never caught anything, and neither did the many friends I had who were almost as sexually active as I was.

I used to walk the streets of Hollywood Boulevard in those days and never even watch my back. Crime, if it went on, and I'm sure it MUST have SOMEWHERE, was seemingly absent from my awareness, and from all the other like-minded young people I hung around with in those days.

I really do love writing about those days of over fifty years ago, but I suppose most of you reading this, think I'm exaggerating. Ah---little ones, if you'd only been there with me!

So, how about it? Are a morning person like I now am, an afternoon person, or a night person?

I can certainly understand that, Silky! How many years do you have to be a work slave before you can retire? My younger sister is retiring on June 14th, only another 7 days for her..(Since my OLDER sister has been in the hospice and in and out of consciousness, I received an email from my younger sister whom I hadn't heard from in about ten years, and now she and I are writing each other back and forth...Thanks for the commetn little neat lady, lol. xxxxdavid

 I'm a night person..........but because I work and must be up at 5:30a.m. so I am also a morning person only because its a must....not something that I enjoy.

 Not an enthusiastic morning person. More of a late aftenoon early night kind of guy. Still I go to water aerobics class 3 days a week at 9:00am. That I am one of only 3 -5 guys in a class with 15 to 25 women mostly in my age range has nothing to do with it.
If you see me in the real world, come say "Hi Justskin."

I always behave. Preferably not well.
