MOVING ON
Looking back...
he was once there,
smiling, beaming...
staring at me...
warmly, sweetly...

I met his eyes...
dreaming, sighing...
For he touched my heart
softly, intensely....

But now...
He left me -
and left was space
filled with cobwebs of misty reverie
Now he merely is
a fantasy - a once sweet memory...

Looking ahead and moving on...
time to wake up and face reality
meet life
and no time to be sorry.

Gone...
to follow
the distant part of bitter fancy
and i will find the path
leading to reminiscence-heavenly...

Yet i will never forget
he will fervently be -
the rose who stirred up my spirit,
and the thorn who pierced me deeply!

 Blush - it's a great poem that expresses your feelings and thoughts very well but it's also keeping you in the despair of a love lost. Try writing something about how wonderful your life will be now that you have that necessary experience in your past. Time will take care of it but we can speed up that time by force of positive will. you're very attractive, obviously intelligent and appear to have the necessary emotional depth for a lifelong committment.
