Good post Ana! We all have bad days and have done things we have regretted. But when we continue to keep on then I don't consider them to be mistakes, but they are out to hurt someone. I have seen this being a member for a number you years. It's amazing how just one person can generate enough negative energy that others pick up on it and run with it. It is sad that the site doesn't do more to stop this. About 8 yrs ago this happened and it finally reached the Lesbian Date Network legal department. They did put a stop to it because the site could of gotten into trouble. What is sad is were all here to have fun, make new friends, and maybe find that one person we fall in love with. If we read something we don't like or we disagree with then there is no reason as adults we can't either say nothing, or try to say what we want to with respect. Maybe, the site should change the agreement we all sign when become members should change. Again, good post Ana, John Happy Thurs. Thank you for posting and sharing your thoughts & concerns. You said it perfectly..The negative energy breeds more Bad karma, members leave, friendships broken and all of this so someone can be Number 1 ?? I have heard the horror stories about the former blog war. Thankfully that member was removed and the site improved for the better.Thank you so much for helping me promote the stand of "If you do not like someone or disagree with them then ignore them ." Treat everyone with Respect and leave the drama to soap operas on TV. This is an adult website and members need to ask themselves why are they here ? To attack members or make friends and connections that they can benefit from ? May I respectfully say... ..I think your profile photo is one of the best I've ever seen. so how do i get those emails into the rite persons hands that will actually read them an do something about it ... i see she was gone one day for another breaking of rules... how many one days does a person get??? You do know an understand what other members are saying about this dont you? how it looks? i do have one question, are you just a blogger or do you work for Lesbian Date Network in daily life an employed by the site? I feel the same frustration and confusion. This issue is not settled and is currently being worked on. I can not say more then that at this time. You can either send the blogs to me and I hand them to the people working on this case or you can send copies to the abuse dept yourself. Keep the copies in your inbox and any future replies from the blogger. Yes, I have been dealing with emails for most of the night over the issue. Bullying is such a horrible thing to be involved with or witness it happening to yourself or friends. This is why the Bloggers here have stood up and said ENOUGH.Please if you see Bullying, report it ..If someone asks you to bully someone, say NO and report it..If you see someone being bullied, step UP, support them and become a wall they can lean and protect them. I did talk with the site and the only rule is to NOT post any real names, addresses, emails or phone numbers in public. Once the email is sent to you it is yours to do with as you see fit. We are asking everyone to save whatever evidence you have and to send a copy into the site. I have asked someone here at HQ to email you about this issue & the emails you have mentioned on your blog and mine. I do not know what or where you read something about me but yes, over the years I have done my best to help all members here when an issue or problem with their account crops up. I did help another member last year who lost her profile when she said something about a problem member being deleted from here. (and it was nothing bad or wrong she just mentioned the member during a difficult time on the site ) I did see the blogger you named missing from the blogs and asked about it. I did send her a message about following the rules on site and to remove the blog in question which seemed to be encouraging members to do things to get around the site's new email policy. . I never heard from her again after that. I was simply trying to help members who fell into an abyss with the site. I promised Andrew I'd do whatever it takes to help us stop the member loss. Right or wrong this was done last year. I hope you will be hearing from the site by email soon. Please do not delete the evidence in either your account here or private email. I love how well written this is and forthright. Thank you! This is what we have been wanting the site to say to those of us who felt that the blog post in question was not only in bad taste but disrespectful of a whole group of people. With your permission, I would also like to pimp this post. I would love it if the blogger in question would be held to the rules, as everyone else is. This would be the third time that she has been sanctioned and her profile suspended. I think that means that she should not be allowed on the site any longer. She has several profiles and ALL of them should be taken down and disallowed. Thank you again, Kitkat Happy weekend Thank you for your generous and kind words over this blog post. I have asked someone, anyone..more important then me , to step up and apologize over the petition mess..but alas for now, it is Me saying sorry. The petition did target Nice & the entire LBGTQ community...and after them all roads to all Bloggers. Feel free to share the post and I'll keep replying. I admit I did not know the number of times she has been suspended. I do not understand if you've been banned or deleted once, and you love this site, you apologize and get to come back ...then you are back at it again. I have never understood the need for multiple profiles but I guess it is a good way to either 1) spy on people in chat rooms & blogs..2) Boost your own blog up in viewership.Everyone should follow all the rules..Respect should be the norm not a surprise when it is gifted to others, Everyone should stand up and say NO very loudly when you see someone bullied or lied about. Missy, Darling friend I hear you and I feel your Pain. I just put this message you typed directly into Andrew's hands. I do not blame anyone for being angry, let down and lashing out. I do not normally swear..( I worked with kids so you need to train yourself not to swear ) but man oh man..the house here has heard the F word LOUD and clear. Respect is important to all of Us and I am asking everyone to not give up..to not give into acting as she does to others...Save all evidence and screen shots. United we stand & divided we fall. I promise you we are not giving up..We need to make sure what happened to Thalia never ever happens to any other member. andrew is worried about declining numbers... number of reasons i dropped my gold after 10 yrs plus... things not working here... an now the points thing... cost to IM someone if standard, even after conversation is started im freeze up an have to restart conversation an pay the toll again... unable to read a email a gold has sent a standard is also a bad idea.. takes standards to help in keeping interests going, why pay gold an not have the benifit of emailing who you want to knowing they can read it?????/ another thing, i was given 10,000 points last week..but only recieved 956 of them... i have wrote Lesbian Date Network probably 4-6 times so far... an havent yet been told where the other 9000 points went, an yes i asked the person who gave to the points if Lesbian Date Network took all the points away from her an she said yes... so its many things that need to be worked on .. it is a great site... but it needs to fix things so it keeps its memership up an keeps attracting new members

Dear Jasmine, Happy weekend Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Yes, hiding behind computer screens and leaving negative words or attacks in their wake is the way of the New PC Trolls. It has gotten so much worse. I can harken back to the days of old when the chat rooms had 35+ chatters in it, having fun and the rooms getting so crowded that you would get bounced out and have to rush to get back in...I heard " Ana, I got bounced out " a thousand times a night. People were happy, had each others backs..and protected the room & chatters. A rare troll would show up and be shouted down, ignored, blocked/reported and gone. Thanks for your post. I personally think the list should not exist and it would be more peaceful in blogland. So many blogs are overlooked and truth be told they are the ones that tend to be the most creative. By them not being acknowledgement over silly numbers is a shame. The glitches on the blogs are frustrating. Comments do not go through. People are not held accountable for their actions when they do break TOU's. Which in eyes makes the site just as guilty for allowing this lack of respect and bullying to happen. I am not trying to be rude and I do appreciate all your help and supporting this cause I just frustrated that this is STILL a issue to begin with.
